On Tuesday, August 4, 2020, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratchaphon Suntivarakorn, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, and Mrs. Araya Arunanondchai, Chief Executive Officer and President of Rajburi Sugar Co., Ltd., signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) for Academic Cooperation between the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, and Rajburi Sugar Co., Ltd. at the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University.

The signing ceremony was witnessed by Mr. Sunthorn Arunanondchai, Chairman of Rajburi Sugar Group, Dr. Chutamas Arunanondchai, Executive Director of Rajburi Sugar Co., Ltd., Prof. Dr. Kanchana Sethanan, Professor of Industrial Engineering, along with executives from both organizations.

One of the key missions of the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, is to conduct research, create knowledge and innovation to meet the nation’s needs, provide academic services to enhance the competitiveness of Thai industries, and create shared value with society for sustainable development. With technological advancements accelerating rapidly, collaboration between public and private sectors is essential to driving sustainable progress. Consequently, the Faculty of Engineering, Khon Kaen University, and Rajburi Sugar Co., Ltd. established this academic cooperation MOU to jointly enhance management efficiency, offer practical training programs, and undertake related projects and activities to maximize the potential of Thailand’s sugar industry moving forward.
